Bajaj Group has announced to donate Rs. 100 Crore to tackle the COVID-19 menace. It also said it will work in association with the government and the NGOs to facilitate the delivery of essential resources to the needy people.
The firm would also support private and public health infrastructure across the country by upgrading ICUs providing essential equipment, ensuring better testing facilities and by setting up quarantine units. “We salute all the health care, sanitation, and emergency support workers and local police who are working tirelessly to contain the situation. We continue to be committed to helping them in every possible manner to fight this pandemic. Together, we will ensure that our communities remain healthy and have all the support to tide through these unprecedented times,” Chairman of the Bajaj Group Rahul Bajaj was quoted as saying.
