In a bid to help talented youth
of Haryana, the state government has decided to provide them online coaching
with the help of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) according to their merit
Haryana government has set an
ambitious target to provide employment to 50,000 youth in the state over the
next 6 months in the private sector.
Notably, the unemployment rate in Haryana is about 29 per
cent as of now, a number higher than other neighboring states. Due to
lack of proper employment opportunities and a dignified life, a large
number of youth are getting into drugs and crime. The state of affairs of
unemployment in the state can be gauged from a glaring
example from the recent past, in which 23 lakh youth applied for

senior officials of the state Employment department, deputy chief minister
Dushyant Chautala said some youth are not able to qualify for competitive exams
by a margin of a mere one or two marks despite being talented. “The state
government will provide coaching to these talented youth of the state to shape
them and turn their passion into success,” Chautala said.
He added that the ‘Employment
Portal’ and ‘Call-Centre’ of the Employment Department was launched on July 15,
2020 on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day and has elicited a good
response. “Data of about 13 lakh unemployed youth of the state has been collected
in this portal. The youth registered on the portal were contacted through the
call centre and asked about their opinion regarding department, salary,
location etc. for their jobs,” the minister said.

for their preference and about 30,000 youth have shown keen interest and have
